We’re 20 years young this year and to celebrate we’re going to fly high with our favourite flying friends and we want you to join in the fun…

On Sat 25th April we’re taking the theatre to you with a spellbinding performance in the Market Square where the ridiculously talented aerial dancers will make your jaws do that thing where they drop to the floor. After that Backstage Youth Theatre will lead you along the canal to Backstage in a Pied Piper style parade for Fidget Feet’s beautiful Elves and the Shoemaker show.

There you’ll meet Herman and Daisy who want to make shoes but have no money. Don’t worry though, because magic is always just around the corner. The Elves are here to help!

Join us and become part of the story as Daisy greets you when you arrive and equips you with your very important shoemaker apron. When everyone is ready she’ll lead you into the Canal Studio where you’ll meet Herman and you’ll see how fun and silly he can be dancing and making music when he really should be making shoes.

But the real magic happens when you follow Herman and Daisy into the auditorium and through the doors of their special workshop on the stage. When the elves appear out of nowhere (you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled to see can you spot them hiding) they will make your jaws do that thing where they drop to the floor as they spin and dance all around you, getting you to join in the fun and follow your “musical heart.”

This is truly beautiful show that will capture your kids’ imaginations though music, laughter and aerial circus skills, immersing them in the fun and magic of it all.
