0800-CUPID, written and performed by Emer Dineen and directed by Phillip McMahon, is a queer, genre-defying music theatre show that traces an extraordinary year in Dineen's life. The show navigates her father's dementia diagnosis, a Tourette's diagnosis, her nightlife career in drag as club-kid alter ego 'Cupid', and the loss of her call-centre job — all set against the pulse of London's club scene. Featuring a live band with Tom Beech, Michael McCarthy, and Osazee Aiguokhian, alongside cast members Isabel Adomakoh Young and Carl Harrison, the show transforms the stage into an avant-garde nightclub-meets-concert experience. Produced by THISISPOPBABY, the show received multiple five-star reviews following its run at Soho Theatre, London.
