From Pulitzer winner and Steppenwolf Ensemble member Tracy Letts comes a sharp character study about an unlikely friendship. The Chicago Tribune called Superior Donuts a “witty, seductive, live-wire and greatly entertaining dark comedy that you just don’t want to end and you just don’t want to miss.” The Los Angeles Times hailed Letts’ “deftly drawn characters” and that “a rich vein of feeling” permeates the play. Note: Mature language, violence.

Mark Abram-Copenhaver (SBCT’s The Seafarer) directs a fine ensemble: David Chudzynski as Max, Diane Zuber as Officer Randy, Tony McMutuary as Officer James, Leigh Taylor as Lady Boyle, Gary Oesch as Arthur, Brandon Harper as Franco, Bill Svelmoe as Luther, Zach Gassman as Kevin, and Joe Goepfrich as Kiri.

Tickets are $15 on Wednesday and Thursday, $18 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Patrons can purchase tickets by calling 574-234-1112 or visiting the company's website.
