“Romeo Juliet in Smart Cities of Contemporary India” revolves around two young lovers, Mridul and Vaibhavi, who work at call centers and lives on rent separately. Their landlords do not allow the presence of any other male/female in their space. So they meet-up at Mridul’s room secretively. Meanwhile, Bhole Bhakt Mandal, a fringe group, seeks revenge from Mridul over a pity dispute. They break the door open and start harassing them in the name of religion and morality. After severe mental, physical and emotional torture, both decide to take a step, which is going to change their life forever...
