DACAMERA kicks off its 2020/2021 season with a free Opening Night livestream concert on October 2. Hosted by Artistic Director Sarah Rothenberg and featuring an international lineup of outstanding performers, this will be an opening night like no other. Performers include: classical vocalist Davne Tines with an original presentation drawing from his broad repertoire; flutist Claire Chase performing composer Marcos Balters 2019 work Echo for flute and electronics; cellist Sonia Wieder-Atherton performing Bach; guitarist Sharon Isbin playing works by composers from Venezuela and Paraguay; and solo jazz sets from Houston native pianist James Francies and Cuban percussionist Pedrito Martinez.Visit DACAMERAs website to register for the event and receive the link the view the livestream on Oct. 2.
