As every good Houstonian knows, Tamarie Cooper creates wholly original, full-scale musicals every dang summer—a Houston institution featuring wildly irreverent scripts, riotously funny songs, wackadoodle dances, spectacular sets, large casts of quadruple-threat performers, a small but mighty band, and of course Houston’s own undefeated champion of ass-clownery, Tamarie Cooper, with co-star Kyle Sturdivant at her side. Tamarie Greatest Hits, Volume 3 celebrates a major milestone: 30 years of all-new Tamarie Cooper Shows, featuring the best moments from a decade of really great moments.
This year’s cast is an all-star ensemble featuring Raymond Compton, Greg Dean, Dillon Dewitt, John Dunn, Sara jo Dunstan, Bryan Kaplún, Chaney Moore, Jenna Morris Miller, Mara McGhee, Rebecca Randall, Kyle Sturdivant, Clarity Welch, Abraham Zeus Zapata, Walt Zipprian and starring Tamarie Cooper.
Music direction is led by Alli Villines, with band members Erin Rodgers, Kirk Suddreath, and Brett Needham rounding out the stage.
