The Grammy Award-winning Houston Chamber Choir closes its 2025–26 season with Open-ish Mic Night, a community-driven program at The MATCH Matchbox 2 in Houston. Departing from its typical choral repertoire, the ensemble's 24 professional musicians perform pop favorites and show tunes as soloists and in small groups, joined by special guests from the Houston community. The event takes place on May 30, 2026, with performances at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., the latter followed by a casual "Reception-ish" featuring champagne and movie snacks. The Choir is now led by Artistic Director Dr. Betsy Cook Weber in her inaugural season.
