The Lone Star College-CyFair Music Department presents a choral concert titled Music, Beauty is Life on October 24, conducted by Dr. Paulo Gomes. This performance features the LSC-CyFair Chamber Singers and Concert Choir, showcasing a range of pieces from classical composers like Britten and Vaughan Williams to contemporary works by Antognini, Runestad, and Hagenberg. A highlight of the concert will be Vaughan Williams’s "Five Mystical Songs," featuring vocal faculty Dr. Aidan Smerud alongside a string quintet and pianist Eunae Lee. The program is designed to celebrate the beauty of music and its profound connection to the human experience.
