A post-apocalyptic comedy with a side of existential dread
The Catastrophic Theatre presents the World Premiere of
FROZEN SECTION by Lisa D’Amour, Directed by Jason Nodler.
“Welcome to Tyler’s, where a stranger is just a friend waiting to happen.”
Meet the idiosyncratic community that works and shops at Tyler’s, a grocery store at the edge of the world. By the dumpster in the alley, the cashier communes with the coyote, vaping, laughing, exchanging ancient truths. If you’ve ever felt lost in this world or confused by “reality,” these are your people, this play is for you.
FROZEN SECTION runs April 4 - April 19, 2025, at the Midtown Arts and Theater Center Houston (MATCH). Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at matchouston.org, by calling the MATCH box office at 713-521-4533, or in-person by visiting the MATCH box office at 3400 Main St.
