Da Camera of Houston presents the internationally acclaimed Elias String Quartet in a two-night program that traces the history of British music. On March 19, the performance will include the U.S. premiere of String Quartet No. 4 Nine Fragments, a newly commissioned work by esteemed contemporary British composer Sally Beamish, along with a selection of Scottish folk songs and String Quartet No. 1 in A Minor, Op. 41 No. 1 by Robert Schumann.
