Photo Flash: A.D. Players Opens BUNNICULA Today, 10/23

A. D. Players Children's Theater will open its season today, October 23rd with the musical Bunnicula, adapted for the stage by Jon Klein from the popular children's book by Deborah and James Howe, with lyrics by Jon Klein and music by Chris Jeffries. Get a first look at the show in the photos below!When all of the vegetables in the Monroe house start turning white, Chester the cat and Harold the dog become convinced that Bunnicula, the family's new pet rabbit, may really be a vegetable vampire and a threat to the household! But is the bunny really a danger or just different? This musical adaptation is appropriate for kids of all ages and teaches the very important lesson of not judging a book by its cover. The cast of Bunnicula includes A. D. Players resident actors Braden Hunt as Harold, Stephen Hurst as Chester, Craig Griffin as Robert Monroe, and Travis Hayes as the puppeteer for Bunnicula. A. D. Players intern Trisha Wise will play Ann Monroe and child actors David Helms and Everett Go play brothers Pete and Toby. A. D. Players Grace Theater is located at 2710 W. Alabama, Houston, Texas. Bunnicula runs today, October 23 - November 10, 2012. Showtimes are Wednesdays through Saturdays at 10:30am with one 1:00pm performance on Saturday, November 3rd. Bunnicula previews on October 23rd at 7:00pm.
Tickets are $10 for individuals and $6 for groups of 10 or more, $5 for Title 1 schools. Tickets may be purchased online at www.adplayers.org, at the A. D. Players Box Office, 2710 W. Alabama, or by calling 713-526-2721. *$2 Convenience fee applies to tickets purchased online.
