Broadway’s Eric Gilliom tickles your funny bone and warms your heart while celebrating Hawaii’s rich history and unique multi-ethnic culture. Breathing life into his own native-Hawaiian ancestry through a dizzying array of characters, hilarious storytelling, and over-the-top show stoppers, Gilliom’s entertainment industry family legacy proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that truth is always stranger than fiction, and the coconut doesn’t fall far from the tree.
“Based on the foundation of a multigenerational family tribute, White Hawaiian embraces a dizzying array of comedic caricatures, Chaplinesque slapstick, moving drama, multiple hit musical highlights and non-stop laugh-out-loud moments along with Hawaiian cultural history. All wrapped up with a knockout performance by its star. An actor’s tour de force” —Maui News
“Hawaii’s greatest showman” — Rock legend Mick Fleetwood
“Eric is one of the funniest guys I know” — Oscar winner Jamie Foxx
