In order to conjure up a full-length play from the famous ballad of the cheeky sorcerer's apprentice, the imaginative theater man Thomas Waldkircher added further texts by Goethe as a prelude and thus created a fascinating mixture of colourful, fairytale-like theater of illusions.

Seasoned with small dance interludes and fantastically beautiful music, the theater in medias res presents an exciting, humorous and sensual play that is full of wisdom and conjures up a world between reality and fiction, nature and ghosts on the stage.
