Playwright/composer Jodie Fox's original comedic musical is set in 1926 NYC, a struggling theatre has just lost its director and star actor. To matters worse, motion picture companies are taking over and turning live theatres into movie houses. The Velvet Curtain theatre needs their next theatre show to be a big hit or it's lights out forever. The city's first female director steps up, but the owner has his doubts as the cast is in disarray, love triangles form, and the stagehands try to hold it together.
