Framing Ménerbes presents a visual celebration of the picturesque village in Provence through the eyes of choreographer Daniel Gwirtzman, who captures stunning landscapes and the beauty of dance. The film intertwines elements of travelogue and documentary, showcasing Gwirtzman's creative process and the stories of sixteen local participants. Following the screening on October 15th, an engaging Q&A will feature Gwirtzman alongside film scholar Eli Horwatt, providing insights into the artistic journey behind the work. This presentation marks Gwirtzman’s milestone of thirty years as a New York City artist.
