Next Fall, which was nominated for the Tony Award, Drama Desk Award and Outer Critics Circle Award as the best new play of 2010, is being presented by the Main Street Players in Miami Lakes. Geoffrey Nauffts' thoughtful and moving drama focuses on the relationship between older partner Adam, a neurotic atheist, and Luke, a partially closeted, impulsive and devoutly Christian actor. When an accident leaves Luke in a coma, family and friends descend on the couple, and their different backgrounds spark tension. The play presents the couple's relationship in flashbacks as it developed leading up to the day of the accident. This humorous, honest and thought-provoking play is about relationships, religion and living for today.

The play, directed by Robert Coppel, runs from February 7th through March 2nd, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 2 PM. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors (62+), and $18 for students with valid ID, and are available on the website www.mainstreetplayers.com and at the door. The Main Street Playhouse is located at 6766 Main Street in Miami Lakes, across from Johnny Rockets restaurant. Further information is available on the website or at (305)558-3737.
