SEEKING:

PEACHES: Black Man. Mid 20s- Mid 30s This role has been precast. Seeking understudy.

PASSENGER 1: Black Woman. Early- Late 20’s. Church Folk, Trisha, Kendra, Marie, LaKeisha. Trisha: goes to clinic to get an abortion, endures passing of a loved one due to police violence put into the national news. Kendra: fights the camera. Marie: engages in a fight with the character Black, strangles them, and is strangled by them. Lakeisha: an incarcerated individual being released

PASSENGER 2: Black Man. Late 20s-Early 30’s. Pastor Freeman, Damien, Tony, Jonathan, Clerk. Pastor: witnesses instances of the death of Black folks in the national news Damien: revealed to be riddled with bullet holes Tony: fights the camera.

PASSENGER 3: Fair-Skinned Black Woman. Late 20s-Early 30’s. Church Folk, Zamata, Rachonda, Susan, Judah. Zamata: goes to clinic to get an abortion. Rachonda: a white character in blackface. Susan: fights the character Black and is strangled by them, stabs Black in the heart.

PASSENGER 4: Black Woman. Early- Mid 30s. Church Folk, Woman, Tracy, Katie. Officer Brown. Woman: goes to clinic to get an abortion. Tracy: fights a camera while the cameraman tries to take her off it . Katie: engages in a struggle with the other characters, forms a noose that is tied around the character Black's neck

PASSENGER 5: Black Woman. Early- Mid 30s. Church Folk, Newswoman, Karen, Black, Blue. Karen: fights the camera. Black: breaks out from being held captive in the basement, engages in a physical fight with the other characters, is strangled by Marie, strangles her and Susan, is stabbed by Susan, is choked by a noose made by Katie. Blue: an incarcerated individual being released.
