Seeking actors 18+ able to play teenagers. The Sharks are a gang of Puerto Rican immigrants and must be able to play Latinos.

Maria
Lovely young immigrant Puerto Rican girl, excited and enthusiastic about her new life in America. Strong soprano.

Tony
Handsome older teen-ager, who has outgrown the Jets and is looking for something more; Strong tenor.

Riff
Charismatic, intelligent, streetwise, leader of the Jets; Tenor. Must be a strong dancer

Anita
Worldly, flashy, sharp-tongued, and with a knowing sexuality; Alto/mezzo-sop Must be a strong dancer

Bernardo
Handsome, proud, leader of the Sharks, with a sardonic chip on his shoulder; Baritone. Must be a strong dancer.
