Seeking
Equity actors, singers, dancers for various principal roles.

Especially seeking non-Caucasian performers to play young Puerto Ricans.

Preparation
Prepare a song of your choice for all singing roles. Bring music in the appropriate key.

For speaking roles, sides will be provided.

All bring picture and resume, stapled together

1st reh: 10/14/14. Opens: 11/7. Closes: 11/23
Callbacks: 9/4. Sides will be provided at callbacks

Seeking the following:

ANITA
Feisty and assertive. Puerto Rican. Female, 25-30 yrs old Range: F3 - D5 Must be excellent dancer.

ANYBODYS
A spunky tomboy who is desperate to become a member of the Jets.. Full of energy and heart. Female, 15-25 yrs old. Excellent Dancer/ Speaking Role

BERNARDO
A proud, strong, handsome Puerto Rican man. Leader of the Sharks. Male, 25-35 yrs old. Range: Bb2 - Eb4. Must be an excellent dancer.

CHINO
An angry and, at times, naive Shark who turns murderous and vengeful. Male, 20-25 yrs old. Dancer/Speaking Role.

MARIA
A hopeless romantic and innocent young girl. Puerto Rican. Female, 18-21 yrs old. Range: Bb3 - C6

RIFF
A spritely, quick-tempered leader. Male, 25-30 yrs old : Range: Bb2 - G4

TONY
A romantic young man and former leader of the Jets, he has found a new lifestyle now. Genuinely sweet and sincere. Male, 25-30 yrs old. Range: Bb2 - Bb4
