All rehearsals will be held on the campus of The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts in downtown Worcester, MA. All performances will take place in the BrickBox Theater at the Jean McDonough Arts Center.
An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

SYNOPSIS: In a 1960s Catholic school in the Bronx, Sister Aloysius questions Father Flynn’s affections for young Donald Muller, the school’s first black student. Winner of the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and Tony® Award for Best Play.
SISTER ALOYSIUS: Female presenting, 60s-80s, white. An austere nun of the old guard who serves as Principal in the Catholic school in which the play is set. She holds strong to her beliefs, opinions and convictions, come hell or high water.
FATHER FLYNN: Male presenting, 30s-40s, any ethnicity. A young, likable priest with views on the liberal side. Perhaps Sister Alysious suspects he is gay?
SISTER JAMES: Female presenting, 20s-40s, any ethnicity. A younger, gentler foil to Sister Aloysius. Like the audience, Sister James is forced by the events of the play to grapple with complexities of faith and doubt.
MRS. MULLER: Female presenting, 20s-40s, black. Mother to Donald Muller, the first black student to enroll in the Catholic school in which the play takes place. She is protective and pragmatic.
