IRENE: African-American. 25-34.

Prepare a 2 minute monologue.
Also prepare 2 songs: 16 bars each of a gospel song AND jazz or R&B.
Bring sheet music; accompanist provided.

Bring picture/resume.

Seeking local area actors as no housing is available for out of town performers.

African-American female, 25-35ish. The youngest of three sisters who have gathered at the family home for the funeral of their brother. Alto, must be comfortable with both gospel and jazz, must move well.
