Preparation
Prepare two short, contrasting classic monologues, one of them must be Shakespeare. May only have time to hear one, so pick your best first. Total audition time should not exceed two minutes.

Bring picture and resume stapled together.

Other
Each actor in the summer company plays three or four roles in the season shows, and all shows are rehearsed and performed in repertory.

Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to attend.

Always bring your Equity Membership Card to auditions.

Looking for theatre artists who would like to join a strong ensemble company and are interested in teamwork, collaboration and artistic growth, in a creatively charged atmosphere in a beautiful rural community in central Maine.

Equity packages will be developed from the following roles:

Woman 1:
To play the following:
Madame Amiens (in AS YOU LIKE IT), Lady Hunstanton (in WOMAN OF NO IMPORTANCE), and Nurse (in ROMEO AND JULIET)

Woman 2:
To play the following:
Audrey (in AS YOU LIKE IT), Mrs. Arbuthnot (in A WOMAN OF NO IMPORTANCE) and Lady Capulet (in ROMEO AND JULIET)

Man 1:
To play the following:
Adam (in AS YOU LIKE IT), Mr. Kelvil (in WOMAN OF NO IMPORTANCE), and Friar (in ROMEO AND JULIET)

Man 2:
To play the following:
Corin (in AS YOU LIKE IT), Prince (in ROME AND JULIET), and Dr. Prentice (in WHAT THE BUTLER SAW)

Man 3:
To play the following:
Jaques (in AS YOU LIKE IT), Lord Illingworth (in WOMAN OF NO IMPORTANCE), and Capulet (in ROMEO AND JULIET)

Man 4:
To play the following:
Dukes (in AS YOU LIKE IT), Sir Pontefract (in WOMAN OF NO IMPORTANCE) and Dr. Richardson (in WHAT THE BUTLER SAW)
