Vocal selections will be posted on the ZACH website for download. Please prepare selected materials for the character you wish to audition for. Please bring Resume and Headshot to audition.
NOTE: All actors will be considered for all roles.

Shows run Wednesday through Saturday evenings at 7:30pm and Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:30pm, with potential for Tuesday and Sunday evenings at 7:30pm.

The King
(baritone range C-E) : Powerful character actor, secure in his power; serious, intellectual, able to command as well as show emotional struggle. Shaved head NOT required. ASIAN AMERICAN ACTORS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO SUBMIT

Tuptim
(Soprano Range C- A#):Young, beautiful, high-spirited ingénue with legit musical theatre voice. ASIAN AMERICAN ACTORS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO SUBMIT

Lun Tha- (Tenor Range C-G) :Doomed lover of Tuptim; young ingénue, legit musical theatre voice, strong presence. ASIAN AMERICAN ACTORS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO SUBMIT

Lady Thiang- (Soprano/high Mezzo C#-G):Favorite wife of the King, mother of the Crown Prince; Earthy, regal, must have legit voice and be strong actress. Age range 30’s/40’s. ASIAN AMERICAN ACTORS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO SUBMIT

The Kralahome (non singing role): Imposing, right-hand man to and adviser of the King. Strong character actor. Age range 30’s- 60’s. ASIAN AMERICAN ACTORS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO SUBMIT

Captain Orton (non singing role) : Seasoned English seafarer who brings Anna to Siam. Age range 40-65. Character actor, proficient with accents.

Sir Edward Ramsay (non singing role): Distinguished British statesman and old family friend of Anna. Age range 35-50. Leading man proficient with British/RP accent.

Phra Alack (cast from male Ensemble-any vocal range): Interpreter/Secretary to the King. Character actor. Age range 18-60. ASIAN AMERICAN ACTORS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO SUBMIT

Adult Ensemble (Men/Women-all ages and vocal ranges needed) : Seeking singers who move and also dancers to play wives, priests, guards and members of the Kings court. Trained ballet dancers need not have singing experience to be considered. ASIAN AMERICAN PERFOMERS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO SUBMIT
