CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS

MARLOWE: (she/her, Late 30s, Black) First week on the job. Confident and competent, both physically and mentally. Keen sense of wit and irony. Vivid inner life; even when silent, her face speaks volumes.

DANNY: (he/him, 41, white) Nine years on the job. Mansplaining, dad jokes, and run-of-the-mill machismo thinly mask a profound desire to love and be loved.

PREPARATION

Please prepare a brief comic (contemporary) monologue. Also, bring a picture and resume, stapled together.

Thursday Matinees (3 pm) on February 19 and 26, and March 5, 2026.
