Please prepare a brief selection in the style of the show. This should be comedic MT fare, and something that shows your range.

Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together.

Performance Schedule: 3 Performances / Week (Sundays @ 7:30pm/Mondays @ 7pm and 10pm)

Breakdown

NOTE FROM CREATIVE: Seeking MALE ACTORS to play FEMALE CHARACTERS -- NOT over-the-top drag. All need a solid ensemble high G. All male actors need to sing, move well and have strong comedy skills. The actors playing the MISS GLAMOURESSE CONTESTANTS should be 20's - early 30s and at the very least look presentable as female beauty pageant contestants.

SEEKING EQUITY ACTORS:


MISS BIBLE BELT, RUTH ANN RUTH -- believes that she plus God equals a majority in any situation. She has a righteous attitude and the manic cheerfulness of the newly saved. Big belter voice (gospel?) -- strongest singer in cast. (solid solo high G) Could be Af-Am. ESPECIALLY SEEKING AFRICAN AMERICANS.

MALE SWING (S) -- To cover all roles in the show, including MISS BIBLE BELT, MISS DEEP SOUTH, MISS GREAT PLAINS, MISS INDUSTRIAL NORTHEAST, MISS TEXAS, MISS WEST COAST, and FRANKIE CAVALIER.
