BREAKDOWN

Bag & Baggage & Native Theater Project 2026 Season

About Native Theater Project: Native Theater Project produces work as part of Bag & Baggage's season, with all shows helmed by Native creatives. In addition to producing work by Native playwrights, NTP also commissions, develops, and supports new work by Native writers.
Native Theater Project (NTP) seeks to improve outcomes for Native people by actively supporting storytelling sovereignty, improving representation, developing Native leaders, and enhancing the American theater ecosystem’s cultural competency in producing Native stories by Native artists.

About Bag & Baggage: We are Hillsboro's only professional theater company, operating since 2005, and since 2017 out of The Vault Theater and Event Space in Historic Downtown Hillsboro. We are an anchor organization for the Cultural Arts District and provide access to our space for community conversation to uplift the city of Hillsboro and Washington County. Bag & Baggage is thrilled to welcome Native Theater Project to the Vault for the next two seasons and join Jeanette Harrison in amplifying Native voices in the American theatre!
