BREAKDOWN

TOPDOG/UNDERDOG

Synopsis: Brothers, Lincoln and Booth, are dealt a bad hand before the game even begins. Their names — a cruel joke from their father — carry the weight of American history, turning an already volatile brotherhood into a contest over who gets to define himself. Haunted by their past and obsessed with the street con hustle of three-card monte, they turn every encounter into a battle of wits, sharp humor and high stakes. But some games you can't afford to lose.

SEEKING

Lincoln (Linc) - (Black, male-presenting, 30s/40s) The older brother. He used to be a master Three-Card Monte hustler, but he gave it up after a partner was killed. He is weary, protective, and trying to live an honest, steady life despite being haunted by his past.

Booth - (Black, male-presenting, 20s/30s) The younger brother. He is flashy, high-strung, ambitious, and deeply insecure. He is obsessed with mastering the Three-Card Monte hustle himself and dreams of big-money success.
