Nobody Loves You follows a philosophy grad student who auditions for - and surprisingly finds himself cast on - a reality TV dating show, all in an attempt to win back his ex-girlfriend. But when an unexpected on-set love connection threatens to ruin his plan, manufactured drama collides with real emotion.

BREAKDOWN

JEFF
Male, 20’s-30’s -- a graduate student in philosophy, smart, critical to a fault, a crusader for authenticity…or so he thinks.

JENNY
Female, 20’s-early 30’s – an assistant producer on the reality show Nobody Loves You, smart, acerbic, once an aspiring indie filmmaker whose dreams are now — permanently? — on hold.

BYRON
Male, 30’s-40’s — the host of Nobody Loves You, smooth, dapper, extremely dim.

NINA
Female, late 20’s-30’s — the producer of Nobody Loves You, no-nonsense, ruthless, in control. (Also plays TANYA, Jeff’s girlfriend, earnest, romantic, a terrible match for Jeff. And also plays ZENOBIA, briefly a contestant on Nobody Loves You, a firecracker.)

MEGAN
Female, 20’s-early 30’s – a contestant on Nobody Loves You, a gritty party girl with a secret heart of gold.

CHRISTIAN
Male, 20’s-early 30’s — a contestant on Nobody Loves You, earnest, devout…and really really attracted to Megan.

SAMANTHA
Female, 20’s-early 30’s — a contestant on Nobody Loves You, a schoolteacher eager to find and keep love…a little bit too intensely eager in fact.

EVAN
Male, 20’s-30’s — an obsessed, enthusiastic fan of Nobody Loves You. (Also plays DOMINIC, a contestant on Nobody Loves You, kind of a bro, not the brightest.)
