Sign-in begins at 9:00am and ends at 10:30am. Anyone who arrives after 10:30am to sign-in will not be seen.

Performers of all ethnic and racial background are encouraged to attend.

Always bring your Equity Membership Card to auditions.

Breakdown

PREPARATION:
Please come ready to dance with sneakers, tap shoes and kneepads. You may be asked to sing afterwards, so please bring a song with sheet music in the appropriate key or visit our website and download the NEWSIE material from the AUDITION MATERIAL page. An accompanist will be provided.

SEEKING:

[NEWSIES] Males,18-24, 5’10” and under, all ethnicities. Strong, technically trained dancers with a knack for physicality. Think Michael Kidd. Should also tap and sing very well. Possible principal understudy assignments. ENSEMBLE

NOTE: We encourage performers of all cultural backgrounds to attend.
