Equity actors and actor/singers for various roles and ensemble in both the New London Barn Playhouse and Northern Stage Seasons.

Preparation
Prepare one monologue and one 32-measure vocal selection for musical performers. Non-musical performers may present two contrasting monologues. Please bring a picture and resume. An accompanist will be provided but will not transpose. Audition slots will be 5 minutes long.

Mr. William Cartwright/Mayor Thomas Sapsea
The leader of the music hall troupe. He carries the majority of the dialogue and must be quick with a joke and able to improvise. He is in charge of keeping the pace of the show moving. Unexpectedly fills in as the Mayor character in Drood when another actor fails to show up. (D#3-F#4- Baritone)

Jinx- The shy one, Jinx is usually terrified. He doesn't always remember what songs come next or what the next move is. He is Sparky's stepbrother and there is a little sibling rivalry going on between them. He occasionally gets nose bleed when he sings above an A. He lives his life terrified. He is only in the group because he sings the high notes beautifully. The others are very protective of him. (F3-C6- Tenor)
