9am CDT Tuesday March 6, 2018. Requests
received earlier than this will not be processed.
In your email, indicate any conflicts you have for
that day (e.g.“ I can't audition before 3pm” or “I
need to be done before 6pm” etc.). Daniel will
send back a confirmation email with your
audition time. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to
your reserved time. AEA members without
appointments seen as time permits.

Actor: $509.00/week; Actor/A.S.M.:
$531.00/week;
1st A.S.M: $539.00/week

SEEKING
Equity adult actors for various roles. Local
Nashville actors strong encouraged to audition.
Each production will include an Actor/A.S.M.
Full and fair casting consideration will be given
to ethnic minorities, women, seniors and actors
with disabilities.

PREPARATION
Prepare two contrasting monologues together
totaling no more than three (3) minutes. To be
considered for any musicals, prepare 16 bars of
a show tune with sheet music in the desired key
and include the 16 bars within your three
minute audition time. Please bring a current
headshot and resume

BREAKDOWN


Each production will include an Actor/A.S.M. -
description of duties: assist being on book, assist
stage manager set up rehearsal set pieces & props,

and assist with monitoring breaks in rehearsal. A
Stand-Alone SM will be hired for DISNEY’S THE
LITTLE MERMAID.

Seeking:
Winnie Foster- an 11year old young woman who
has lost her father; too skeptical for her age, but with
an unknown longing for romance and adventure;
must sing very well and be a subtle actress with the
ability to hold a stage. Played by adult actor.
Soprano.

Granny Foster- a gentle woman almost broken by
grief and fear and loss; adversity finds her brave
and unbending. Mezzo-Soprano
Man in the Yellow Suit- creepy and persuasive; a
man with an obsession, a secret; must sing;

Constable- seemingly a buffoon, his simple manner
belies a sharp wit and kind heart.

Hugo- painfully shy, awkward, and goofy; but smart
and eerily observant; his father (Constable Joe)
knows this; the two of them have a routine that fools
most of the people all of the time. Tenor.*
Mae Tuck- matriarch, a mother, a wife; her
homespun wisdom is leavened by her humor and
still girlish delight. Jesse and Miles’ mother. Mezzo-
Soprano.


Angus Tuck- a fond if forgetful husband, but a true
soul with a deep well of love and profound
understanding of the life around him. Tenor.

Miles Tuck- a burned and bitter man; his natural
sweetness shut away; lost his wife and child,
doomed to live with regret; Baritenor.

Jesse Tuck- light and laughing, he is eternal youth
writ large, the lightness shown all the brighter for the
shadow of loneliness that he has; pop tenor; must
sing very well. Tenor. *

she fits in to the world. Strong singer and who must
be able to convey meaning through gesture and
movement. Vocal Range: Soprano Bb3-Eb5.

to keep Ariel safe. Strong singer and comic actor
who can do a Caribbean accent. Puppetry
experience a plus. Vocal Range: Strong Mix-Belt
B3-D5.

King Triton- Ariel’s commanding and over-protective

Father. Vocal Range: Baritone/ Tenor Ab2-F4
doubles as Chef Louis.


Flounder- Ariel’s sincere and sensitive best friend
who is loyal to the end. Spunky actor and singer.
Vocal Range: G3-Db5.*

Scuttle- a loudmouthed, optimistic seagull who is in
‘expert’ in human artifacts. Strong Character Voice
and movement. Tap Experience a plus. Vocal
Range: Tenor/Alto C3-G4.

Flotsam/Jetsam- the oily and spineless eel lackeys
to Ursula. Strong character movement. Vocal
Range: Varies. Puppetry experience a plus.*

Grimsby- Prince Eric’s stuffy British guardian.
