LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS

SEEKING:

[SEYMOUR KRELBORN] He/Him. Late 20s-30s. Any ethnicity. Seymour is a nebbish, an outsider who is truly socially awkward. He works as a florist’s clerk and is a sweet, genuine, well-meaning man who is taken for granted because of his clumsy ways and poor social skills. Seymour’s confidence grows as his plant grows, becoming increasingly egotistical. In the end he is not one of the meek and is partially at fault for all the destruction around him. Tenor (A2-G4).

[MR. MUSHNIK] He/Him. Jewish; 50s-60s. Old enough to adopt Seymour as his son. Seymour's boss and father figure; he owns a failure of a run-down florist shop; under a gruff exterior he cares about Audrey and Seymour; a good man at heart but overcome by the temptations of wealth. Strong character with some singing. Baritone (G2-F4).

[ORIN SCRIVELLO] He/Him. 30s-40s. Any ethnicity. Strong character. Audrey’s boyfriend who is a sadistic sleazeball with a penchant for leather. He uses his dental practice to play out his need to exert power over others. Somewhat of a rockstar in his own mind. Doubles as a handful of other wild character roles, ranging from sleazy agents to customers at the florist shop. Baritone (G2-G4)
