SEEKING

Equity actors of all ethnicities for various roles. Please see breakdown for details. Quintessence is committed to diversity in casting.

PREPARATION

FRANKENSTEIN Preparation: Dramatic/Melodramatic 19th or early 20th century monologue. Sides to be presented at audition.
OLIVER! Preparation: 60 seconds of a traditional British music hall song. Sides to be presented with audition appointment.
KING LEAR Preparation: Dramatic verse monologue. Sides to be presented with audition appointment.

There is free parking in the public lot across the street from 7137. Please check in at the theatre. Some auditions/callbacks may be held in adjacent rehearsal space.

Seeking the roles of Robert Walton, Frankenstein, The Monster, Elizabeth Lavenza, Clerval and Caroline Beaufort.

All other roles have been cast.

Seeking all roles, but specifically looking for:

Oliver Twist (a workhouse child about 11 years of age)

Fagin (An elderly criminal, runs training academy for young pickpockets)

The Artful Dodger (Fagin’s brightest pupil – an undersized 16)

Bill Sikes (a villain in his prime)

Nancy (a 23 year old graduate of Fagin’s academy, and Bill’s doxy)
