Equity male actors for the roles of Tevye, Motel, and Perchik in A FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THIS CALL IF YOU ARE NOT RIGHT FOR ONE OF THESE ROLES.

Preparation
Please prepare 32 bars (or a brief song) in the style of the show. Songs from the show are acceptable. Bring sheet music in the correct key; accompanist is provided, but may not transpose.

Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.

Breakdown

ONLY SEEKING THE FOLLOWING ROLES. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THIS CALL IF YOU ARE NOT RIGHT FOR ONE OF THESE ROLES:

TEVYE - The likeable, hard-working, pious dairyman who always tries to see the positive side of life. He is a proud patriarch and father of five daughters, closely raised according to the old scriptures.
Male, 45-60 yrs old
Range: Ab2 - F5

MOTEL - The poor and meek tailor who shares a deep love with Tzeitel. Sensitive and nervous, but sincere and friendly.
Male, 18-25 yrs old
Range: E3 - F#4

PERCHIK - The outspoken student and visitor to Anatevka, who constantly challenges the traditions of the town. He eventually falls in love with Hodel.
Male, 20-30 yrs old
Range: B2 - E4
