- $952.75 weekly rate for Full-time
- $100.79 per show
- $21.22 /hour - rehearsal/administrative work
SEEKING
Equity Stage Managers for DRUNK SHAKESPEARE CHICAGO.
We are looking for savvy, collaborative theatre professionals to join our team of multi-talented stage management staff. We foster an incredibly fun environment in the style of a secret society & speakeasy, while striving to provide every patron with a unique and memorable experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, high-energy theatrical production with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and exceptional audience experience.
The Stage Manager is an integral part of maintaining the quality and consistency of the production.
PREPARATION
Candidates should arrive prepared with:
- A printed resume
- Two professional references
- A willingness to discuss their stage management experience, production background, and approach to working in a fast-paced theatrical environment
- Current availability for work during our 2027 season

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Calling and running performances
- Tracking and communicating notes to actors and management
- Monitoring the show for deviations from direction and established blocking
- Supporting quality control and consistency
- Pre-show responsibilities including prop setup, technical checks, and ensuring the performance space is ready
- Managing wardrobe

- Working collaboratively with management and performers in a fast-paced environment with many moving parts
