Please prepare a brief contemporary monologue, preferably no more than three minutes in length.

Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together.

A magical dark comedy that explores life’s beginnings, endings, and the surprising connections between people.

Abimbola: 30s, 40s. Nigerian. A cab driver, among other things.

Rozie: 20s. A waitress and part-time escort. Off-beat, damaged.

A family, dealing with loss and old habits in their relationships, encounter a drifter who may teach them how to move on.

Directions to the Oakes Center, provided by the Theatre: “Take NJ Transit, either bus or train, to the downtown Summit stop. Walk down Broad Street approximately ½ mile, make a right on Ashwood (dry cleaner on corner). Make first left onto Morris Avenue. Theatre is on corner between Ashwood and Russell. Enter in Russell Place alley on side of building.”
