APPOINTMENTS

For safety reasons we are not able to allow waiting/gathering in our lobbies and common areas. Please arrive NO SOONER than 5 minutes before your booked studio time. Anyone arriving early will be asked to leave and return at the rental start time. Masking is permitted and encouraged. Please have people write to rippleeffect.artists@gmail.com with their preferred audition time by March 6th.

PREPARATION

Based on character description, prepare both a brief cut of an upbeat song and something more introspective.

An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of audition.

Equity encourages members to prepare for their audition prior to arriving at the audition venue, to the extent that they can (e.g., get dressed, hair/make-up, etc.) to avoid crowding in bathrooms and dressing rooms.

Holding/Audition room information:

The audition room can accommodate no more than 6 individuals at a time.

The holding room can accommodate no more than 12 individuals at a time.

SEEKING:

LILY – In her late forties. She is attractive, naive, and emotionally wounded. but possessing an inner strength and confidence waiting to be unleashed.

MARY-MARIE – In her fifties. She is a Southern gal, full of life with innate comic timing.

CLARITY – In her forties or fifties. African American or Hispanic. Her determined, opinionated and rigid demeanor masks an underlying ‘joie de vivre’.

BUCK – In his twenties. He is handsome, athletic, smart, an old soul, and wiser than his years. Multiple characters: EVE, an Asian manicurist, TWILIGHT DUDE, BOURBON COWBOY, GOLIATH, ‘CATSABLANCA’ BARTENDER and NAKED PETER
