Preparation
Be prepared to dance. All bring tap shoes. Females should also bring character heels. After dancing, you may be asked to sing 16 bars of a traditional musical theatre song or a song in the MGM style. Bring sheet music; a piano accompanist will be provided. Bring a photo/resume stapled together.

Male, any ethnicity, to play ages 15 – 35. Strong dancers who sing. Must have tap ability. To play various roles including Buddy Epsen and the strapping Clark Gable. ENSEMBLE

FEMALE ENSEMBLE DANCERS
Female, any ethnicity, to play ages 16 – 25. Strong dancers who sing. Must have tap ability. To play various roles including Mary Jane, the eldest Gumm sister (featured); Virginia, compassionate middle Gumm sister (featured); and the glamorous Jean Harlow and Lana Turner. ENSEMBLE

BABY GUMM
Female, Caucasian, to play ages 6 – 8. Judy as a very young girl. Strong dancer. Must have tap ability. Strong singing voice. ENSEMBLE

SHIRLEY TEMPLE
Female, Caucasian, to play ages 6 – 8. A blonde, curly-topped moppet as exquisitely adorable as a cherub in a Baroque painting. Strong dancer. Must have tap ability. Strong singing voice. ENSEMBLE

YOUNG VIRGINIA
Female, Caucasian, to play ages 10 – 12. The younger version of the eldest Gumm sister. Strong dancer. Must have tap ability. Strong singing voice. ENSEMBLE

MARY JANE
Female, Caucasian, to play ages 12 – 14. The younger version of the middle Gumm sister. Strong dancer. Must have tap ability. Strong singing voice. ENSEMBLE
