Role CAST. (Male 40s): A slovenly, recently divorced sportswriter.

FELIX UNGER
Role CAST. Seeking possible replacement. (Male 40s): A fastidious, hypochondriac newswriter whose marriage is ending.

MURRAY
Role CAST. Seeking possible replacement. (Male 35-40): One of the poker buddies. A NYC Policeman. A thoughtful nebbish.

SPEED
Role CAST. Seeking possible replacement. (Male 40-45, African-American): One of the poker buddies. Competitive and acerbic.

ROY
Role CAST. Seeking possible replacement. (Male 50-55) One of the poker buddies. An accountant. A brusk, no-nonsense type of guy with a dry wit.

VINNIE
Role CAST. Seeking possible replacement. (Male 35-40) One of the poker buddies. Mild-mannered, a henpecked milquetoast.

GWENDOLYN AND CECILY PIGEON

SIGMUD FREUD
(Male 65-70 Caucasian) An aging Viennese psychologist, 83 years old, who has fled the beginnings of World War II and taken refuge in London, England. He is battling cancer of the mouth, but is still a brilliant thinker. Born into the Jewish faith but has become an atheist.

C.S. LEWIS
(Male Late 30’s- Mid 40’s Caucasian) A Christian theologian converted from atheism, and at 41 still forming many of the opinions and thoughts that he will write about later in life. A native of Belfast, Ireland, but has resided in England since he was 18 years old.

Role CAST. Seeking possible replacement. (Male, 25-35). The groom. Nice looking, likeable everyman. Seldom in command of the situation. Excellent comic chops and verbal dexterity.

RACHEL
Role CAST. Seeking possible replacement. (Female, 25-30). The bride. Very attractive, always in command of the situation. A beautiful Bridezilla. Excellent comic chops and verbal dexterity.

TOM
Role CAST. Seeking possible replacement. (Male, 25-35). The best man. Solid, dependable guy. Perfect comedic “straight man.” Excellent comic chops and verbal dexterity.

JUDY
Role CAST. Seeking possible replacement. (Female, 25-35). Very attractive. Has a childlike innocence masked by a tremendous sexuality, a la Marilyn Monroe (but doesn’t have to be blonde). Excellent comic chops and verbal dexterity.

JULIE
Role CAST. Seeking possible replacement. (Female, 25-40). A Chambermaid. Quirky, kooky, energetic and volatile. She winds up in the thick of things. Character role with lots of verbal and physical comedy.

DAPHNE
Role CAST. Seeking possible replacement. (Female, 45-55). Mother of the bride. Slighty ditzy but delightfully emotional on “the big day.” Eccentric, like a Christopher Durang character.
