PREPARATION
Please prepare a song in the style of the show. We are happy to hear music the show. If you play an instrument and are able to bring it with you to accompany yourself, that is encouraged. An accompanist will be provided.

BREAKDOWN
SEEKING:
Buddy Holly – ROLE IS NOW CAST - 6 ft tall or over, early 20s. Must play guitar with rock and roll feel. Singer-songwriter and star from Lubbock, Texas. Buddy is intelligent and charismatic. Must possess serious star potential.

Joe Maudlin- early 20s. Serious character with musical ability from Lubbock, Texas. Must be able to play the Double Bass and sing well.

JP Richardson- The Big Bopper – late 20s, early 30s. 6 ft tall and above. A former DJ, he is a Texan with an irrepressible larger-than-life character with the ability to command the stage on his own as a single performer. Musical instruments a plus.
