3) A side and 16 bars of a song (if auditioning for both shows)

An original musical that takes place at the end of the New York Bowery Theatre’s heyday and the rise of the motion picture entertainment that replaced it at the turn of the century.

seeking:

MALE 1
Age 30-50. Seasoned vaudeville performer, a hopeful spirit, but battered from years of poverty and performance – tenor (no accent).

MALE 2
Age 30-40. Heir to New York fortune, confident, manipulative but not unsympathetic, protective of his younger sister – baritone-tenor.

Seeking:

ANN
Late 20s, early 30s. Any ethnicity. Former successful college and professional soccer player who now serves as assistant athletic director and coach at her Catholic high school. Ambitious toward a college job, frustrated by the inequity between men's and women's opportunities in the coaching and sports admin worlds. Still loves the game.

TOM
40s. Any ethnicity. Teacher at a Long Island Catholic High School, member of a religious order of brothers. Articulate, intellectual, humble, with a deep love for baseball, although he never played beyond little league. Adores his long career and life of service as a Christian educator, but struggles with having to adhere to an institution's dictates.
