D.Q.M. or Drag Queen Magic follows the story of Letta Celebrate, a drag queen whose life revolves around lip-syncing to Lady Gaga at various events. When a mysterious woman appears, seeking help after losing everything, Letta finds herself caught in a time loop, compelled to save the stranger or face a never-ending cycle. The play, written by award-winning playwright Ian August, explores themes of duty and personal fulfillment through a humorous lens. Expected to be part of the 2025 Durango PlayFest, this work promises to add to the festival's diverse lineup of new and thought-provoking works.
