Shadow's How to Make Auditioning, Acting Course With Jennifer Rincon Begins 5/23

By:

Shadow Theatre Company presents "How to Make Auditioning, Acting," a multi-week acting course taught by master acting teacher Jennifer Rincon. Every actor, even the stars on the big screen, needs training to fine-tune their craft and hone auditioning skills. This course focuses on motivational acting techniques, while also preparing students for the audition process. Actors will prepare at least one two-minute monologue, contemporary or classical, to work on in class.

This four-week course will be held 5/23, 5/30, 6/6, and 6/13 from noon until 3pm at Shadow Theatre Company. There will be a bonus class (on June 20th from noon -3) when actors will have an opportunity to present audition material to professional directors and artistic directors from the community. Tuition for the course is $250. Enrollment is limited to 16 students. To enroll please email info@shadowtheatre.com
Jennifer Rincon has taught for over 20 years. Ms. Rincon was the Head of Acting at The National Theatre Conservatory (NTC) under the direction of Tony Church. Upon graduation from the Yale School of Drama she became the Staff Repertory Director for The Acting Company, under the artistic direction of Gerald Gutierrez. Ms. Rincon was a recipient of the prestigious Fulbright Fellowship Award in Bogotá, Colombia, where she directed and taught at The Teatro Popular de Bogotá. While at the NTC, she founded and was artistic director of the Lizard Head Theatre Company in Telluirde, CO, where she directed Sylvia, Proof, All In The Timing, Lobby Hero and The Syringa Tree.
