In the Spotlight at Playhouse South Auditions Held 10/17 & 18

Playhouse South, A Community Theatre announces open auditions for In the Spotlight. Auditions will be held at the Clark Haines Theater, 3700 Far Hills Avenue at 7:00 pm on October 17 & 18, 2011 with call backs on October 19.

This year's In the spotlight will be a cabaret of songs from shows such as Next to Normal, Wicked, Ragtime, Aida, Legally Blonde, Bare: a Pop Opera, and Batboy under a theme of INSPIRATION.

Please prepare a 1 minute excerpt from a musical theatre song that has a personal inspiration for you and showcases your vocal ability.

Accompanist and CD player provided. A Cappella auditions are discouraged.
 
Special audition by request is set for Sun Oct. 16th 2:00 P.M
