AS YOU LIKE IT Opens Tonight 8/7 at Stoller Vineyards
On Friday August 7th, you will have the opportunity to see the result of the last several months of hard work by our actors and production team. The show starts at 7 PM.
Not only have we brought together a wonderful cast from Portland, Newberg and McMinnville, but we have original music and art created by local artists integrated into our production. It has become a community-created event as friends and neighbors have contributed elements to the show.
The first weekend at Stoller Vineyards will be an exciting one. Those of you who have been to the vineyard and winery know what a beautiful location it is. Those who come on opening weekend will have the opportunity to purchase a bottle of the wonderful Oregon wine produced from the vines which surround you (please do not bring your own alcohol as it is against Oregon Liquor Board regulations). You can bring a picnic or purchase one from Perfect Picnics who will be on hand with food.
Please join us for the opening weekend of a new Willamette Valley tradition. Bring a blanket, a flashlight and a sweater, as it may get dark and chilly by the time the show ends.
Those of you who can't come our first week have the chance to join us the next two weekends at McMinnville's Ed Grenfell Park and Newberg's Ewing Young Park. The full schedule is at http://www.willametteshakespeare.org/schedule/
