About this studio
VK Dance Arena, led by Victor Kanevsky, was founded in New York in 1993 as Kaiser Dance Academy and has specialized since 1994 in training championship-level ballroom competitors who have taken national and international titles. After relocating to South Florida the studio added social dance classes and a wider range of styles, and now operates from a roughly 7,500 square foot facility with three ballrooms on W Hallandale Beach Blvd in Hallandale Beach. Teaching is done by professional and champion-level dancers. Programs include kids' ballroom, ballet, hip-hop and breaking classes, adult classes, group classes, private lessons tailored to individuals or couples, wedding-dance preparation, and regular practice parties and social events. The studio also rents its ballrooms for private functions.
