About this studio
Tutterow Dance Academy has taught in the Largo, Florida area since 1976 and is entering its 48th-plus season, describing itself as a family-centred studio where generations of dancers have trained. It offers age-appropriate dance education for children from 18 months to 18 years, from the STAR Bright Beginnings program for the youngest dancers through Academy-level classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary and musical theatre. The studio emphasises technique-based instruction alongside confidence, character and community, and says it can accommodate students taking anywhere from one to five classes a week, with faculty helping families choose classes to match interest and ability.
