Tj Dance

TJ Dance has been teaching in Duvall, Washington for 40 years, serving Monroe, Carnation, Redmond Ridge and the surrounding valley under the motto 'The Studio Where Everyone Can Dance'. Owners Jayne and Peg run it as a family-friendly, non-elite studio open to kids, teens and adults of all levels, sizes and physical abilities, including non-performance dance-fitness classes for adults. The style list is unusually broad: Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Contemporary, Belly Dance, Modern Fusion, Hip Hop, combination classes, Fosse-style jazz, country line dance (the Riverside Stompers), hoops, heels, Hawaiian and Tahitian fusion, and aerial hammock classes, with new classes added regularly. Summer brings drop-in classes for ages 3 to adult across daytime, after-school and evening slots, plus teen and adult intensives and stretch, strength and turns workshops. The season runs September to a multi-show June recital, and the studio holds an August open house with sample classes.
