The Tap Studio

The Tap Studio was established in 2015 and presents itself as the place to study tap dance in Alaska, operating from 4105 Turnagain Blvd E, Suite H, Anchorage. As its name suggests the studio specializes exclusively in tap, and its mission statement is to joyfully honors the cultural traditions of American tap dance through education, performance and community partnerships. The studio says its passionate educators inspire students to tap with joy while perfecting technique, honouring tap history and sharing with the wider tap community, summarised in three principles: tapping to honors those who came before, to carry on the tradition with pride and respect, and to join others in joyful expression.
