About this studio
Now operating as Juneau Dance Theatre, this 501(c)(3) non-profit runs two studios in Juneau, Alaska - its main studio and office at 8420 Airport Blvd and a second space on Shaune Drive in Lemon Creek. Teaching is organized into four divisions: a Professional Ballet Division with a graded syllabus running from Creative Movement (ages 3-5) and Pre-Ballet through Levels 1-6, pointe, variations and partnering; a Recreational Division covering acrobatics, hip hop, children's contemporary and tap; an Adult Division with beginner and continuing ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern and tap; and a Team Division whose audition-only competition dancers travel to competitions and conventions.
